After the Niicharan and Obellix species invaded Earth, humanity now lives under the rule of the Great Order, forced to submit to the two alien races. Today marks the anniversary of Queen Niiuma Academy, a pan-species institution symbolizing the aliens’ superiority and supposed benevolence. During the academy’s grand ceremony, Niina and Oxxy receive a call from their friend Alex. Seizing the chance, they sneak out of the Auditorium and race through the academy, competing to reach Alex first.

Jennifer was a Korean-American born and raised in the U.S. Her parents were born in Korea, but she only visited the country three times. She was raised by her grandmother, who spoke limited English and grew up eating Korean food and watching Korean films. Jennifer never fully learned Korean and wasn’t familiar with K-pop, preferring artists like Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga. Today, Jennifer has died. As she finally feels relief from her lifelong struggle with her identity, two reapers—one American, one Korean—arrive to guide her. Now, she must make one final choice: which path to follow.
